This is an Edwardian hand fan. The stick pieces are tortoise shell and the pieces that are attached to the tortoise shell we believe are goat skin. There is pierced work on them along with gold gilt and black accents. There is some sort of egyptian design in the center of them. This is a great hand fan. GORGEOUS!
It measures when closed 9.25 inches by 3 inches. When opened it measures 14 inches wide. It has minor wear. Please view all the photos.

I am pleased to offer this Lalique Chrysanthemum Footed & Gilt Dish. The frame of the Dish Gilt Bronze and marked France. I believe to be the works of Rene Lalique. Today we offer you a beautiful and very rare Meissen plate. It has the crossed swords mark on the back as well as the number 51 and I believe the letter 'i'. It also has incised numbers in the under glaze which are impossible to photograph.
