| It has a brass frame that has great designs. There are 2 loops one on one side of the back frame and the other on the opposite side of the front frame they could probably be used for a chain if you want to make this a shoulder bag. The front and back are hand stitched and have great scenes, one side is a man walking down a path with trees on each side of him and far in front of him. The other side is trees with a light house and water below. The clasp is square and in the center there is a huge lapis stone with gold flakes in it and beaded work around it. On the edges of the square clasp there is great open work and semi precious stones like lapis, emeralds, and a pink crystal. The back of the square clasp has beautiful open work with great designs and raised designs. The front side under the clasp piece on the frame there is a dangling piece with 2 rows of beaded work in a circle and in the center there is a lapis stone that has some white going through it. Inside there is a tan silky material, lining the top of the bag there are purple material flowers and green material leaves. There are 2 open pockets, they are a little stretched out. There is a matching pocket that can come out and it has a snap to keep it closed, it is great for change or cards. The snap has some wear. This is a gorgeous hand bag. It measures 5 inches from top of the frame to the bottom of the bag by 6.50 inches from side to side. The square clasp piece measures 1.75 inches by 2 inches. There is some green verdigris so it needs to be cleaned. Inside is a little dirty and needs to be cleaned also.There is one stone missing on the clasp piece.
