Included here are four antique industrial steel pallets with their original wooden planks. They each measure 30" square and 8" high and have been stacked in our image to create a unique side table. Pairs may be stacked to create a cocktail or coffee table 16" in height. These items reside with our client near Hudson NY and may be seen in person by appointment.
This Austrian Art Nouveau period bronze lamp features its original iridescent green and silver glass shade. Bronze is signed "BL" and "Werner" and we have found no marks on the shade. Condition is excellent. Patina on the bronze is old and undisturbed and there are no visible cracks or chips on the shade. Measures: 16.7" tall, 14" wide, 8" deep (42.4 cm x 35.5 cm x 20.3 cm).
This French Louis XVI or Directoire style gueridon table dates from circa 1900-1910, and features a Vernis Martin painted top with new clear glass, ebonized wooden legs decorated with bronze garland mounts, and raised animal hoof feet. It measures 33" tall and 18" in diameter.
This exceptional and large parquetry inlaid and gilt bronze-mounted commode dates from circa 1900, and exhibits the highest level of craftsmanship. We have inspected a few mounts and found the impressed marks of the bronzier which appear to read HPP, HFP, HPB OR HFB. Condition is excellent.
Included here is a matching pair of antique gilt and patinated bronze two-candle candelabra in the form of ancient oil lamps, with rouge marble pedestals and modern lamp hardware. Each accepts a single standard size bulb and has wiring and plugs dating from the mid-twentieth century. New shades are made of paper and mimic the appearance of enamelled tole metal. This fabulous antique mirror in the Chippendale style dates from the nineteenth century and has its original looking glass. Condition is excellent. There are no visible losses to the giltwood ornamentation. There are obvious losses to the silvering on the mirror. Measures 59 by 38.5 by 3 inches (149.9 by 97.8 by 7.6 cm).
This pair of candelabra in the French Louis XV style feature porcelain vases with an unusual cascading glaze in shades of gold and rust orange, with applied gilt enamel decoration depicting foliage and insects. The gilt bronze mounts have their original patina. Condition is excellent. There are no visible cracks or losses, and a couple bobeches are missing. This unique and elegant matching pair of gilt metal sconces have their original scalloped hurricane-shaped glass and two electrified candles with candelabra-size sockets. Each measures 26" by 14" by 9" (66 by 35.6 by 22.9 cm). There are losses to the gilt finish, consistent with age. We have added new wiring and they are ready for installation.
This lovely antique dore bronze chandelier in the Russian or Baltic style features six candle arms extending from a reticulated circular frame, suspended from link chain with smaller frames and cobalt blue teardrop-shaped glass suspended in center. This pair of figural candelabra feature dark patinated cherub figures holding stalks with five candle arms. Four of the bobeches are missing. Mounts are all intact and they are structurally sound. Patina on all surfaces is old and undisturbed. There are no signs of restoration.
