This matching pair of monumental, nineteenth century Cantonese porcelain vases measure 50.75" (128.9 cm) tall, and feature a celadon green ground with raised white slip decoration including flowers, trees, butterflies and dragons. Included here is a pair of Chinese export porcelain roosters set upon tree stump bases. Each measures approximately 15.5" high, 9.25" wide and 5" deep. Each weighs an estimated 6-8 lbs. Condition of each is excellent, with no visible cracks, chips or repairs. These items reside with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
Included here is a pair of old Chinese porcelain foo dogs (lions) in turquoise blue and aubergine flambe glaze. Each measures 16.25" tall, 7.5" wide and 5.5" deep. There are no hallmarks. Condition is very good. The only visible damage is a small chip from the claw of one lion.
