Included here is a matching pair of tall (30") three-candle wall sconces in the gothic style, dating from the early twentieth century. They are crafted from solid steel and brass, and feature two lower candle arms and three upper candle arms. Each was designed to be electrified, and on/off dial near the base. We will be happ to rewire as needed prior to shipment.
This pair of vintage wall sconces are crafted from tole metal and have electrified candles. Each measures 19.5" tall, 10.5" wide and 6.5" deep. Possibly of French origin.
This pair of antique French metal sconces feature three candle arms and rock crystal pendants. They are wired and accept candelabra size bulbs. Each measures 26.5" tall, 14" wide and 8.5" deep (67.3 by 35.6 by 21.6 cm).
This lovely pair of mirror-back sconces are believed to be of French origin, and feature black enamel metal frames with baskets, three candle arms and tree-like frames from which hang a wide variety of clear and colored crystal pendants in the shape of leaves and fruit. Neither is electrified. Each measures approximately 22" tall and 14" across. This pair date from the early twentieth century, circa 1920s.
Included here is a set of four matching gilt metal and crystal sconces attributed to Maison Bagues. They date from the 1930s or 1940s and have no sockets or wiring. The set resides with our client in Manhattan in New York City and may be seen in person by appointment.
This unique hand-crafted metal wall sconce features four flower petal sockets and dates from the 1950s or 1960s. Fine working condition. It measures 27" wide, 24" high and 7" deep. There is no signature, but the piece is reminiscient of works by Curtis Jere.
Included here is a matching pair of vintage chrome finished wall sconces, circa 1940s, by Jean Perzel (1892-1998). Each measures 18.5" tall, 14.75" wide and 15.75" deep. Each has its original workign sockets with ceramic diffusers, and wiring that is ready for use. There are some scratches here and there, a couple noticeable dents on one fixture on the side of the globe, and a dent at the base of the other.
Included here is a set of four vintage wall sconces in the Maison Bagues style, crafted from tole metal with mottled brown finish, and a variety of clear and colored rock crystal pendants, including flower heads and fruit shapes. They date from the mid-century period (circa 1940-1970). Each has three candles accepting candelabra-size bulbs, and each is wired and ready for installation. Included here is pair of six-candle metal wall sconces, circa 1920, possibly by Maison Bagues, featuring rock crystal pendants and a gilt silver finish. Each measures 30" tall (including pendants), 24" wide and 12" deep. Each has been newly wired and is ready for installation.
This matching pair of wall sconces, circa 1920s, feature two candlearms and lyre motif, and are crafted from patinated and black lacquered metal with clear glass drip pans. Each measures 16" tall and 9" across. Each is in good condition and has candelabra sockets but no wiring. There are a few visible repairs to the lacquered finish. These items reside in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
