This pair of nineteenth century opaline glass vases feature Egyptian motifs, including gilded and jewelled decoration, and enamel painted figures. Each measures 17.25" high 5.5" in diamter (43.8 by 14.0 cm). There are no hallmarks. We suspect these are of French or Italian origin, and unfortunately have no knowledge of provenance. This beautiful Daum vase measures an impressive 24.25 by 8 inches (61.6 by 20.3 cm) and features tree leaf designs in green and red on an orange and green ground, plus green and red applied insects. Condition is very good, with no deep scratches and no visible chips or repairs. Underside shows the Daum Nancy mark with Cross of Lorraine. This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side in Manhattan (New York City) and may be seen by appointment.
This vintage Duncan Flacon No. 3 perfume bottle, currently retails for $850 from the Addison Collection. Originally dating from the 1930s, this model is still produced by Lalique. This particular bottle is believed to be 20-40 years old. The clear, polished rectangular bottle features two nude female maidens in relief, front and rear, framed by ascending rectangles. Measures 8" high, 3.5" wide and 2" deep. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
This Corfou Cigarette Box by Lalique dates from the 1960s or 1970s. Measures 4.75" wide, 4.25" deep and 2.5" high. Signed "Lalique France". This fine Art Deco period glass vase with bubbles and oxides, circa 1930, by Legras et Cie, features an etched and green enamelled decorative band across the middle depicting stylized comets. Measures 8.75" high and 4.5" across and weighs 2 lbs. 8 oz. Condition is excellent. There are a handful of noticeable scratches close to the lip on one side as seen in our images below.
