This wonderful vintage giltwood mirror dates from the early twentieth or late nineteenth century and measures an impressive 48.5" by 26.5" by 2.5". Gilded decoration is in very good condition, but the ground is showing through in various spots, consistent with age. There are a couple cracks to the frame, but is structurally sound and not in need of repair. This mirror after the original designed by Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988) and Andre Arbus (1903-1969) measures an impressive 58 by 38 inches (147 by 96 cm). Mirrored glass measures roughly 24 by 16 inches (61 by 41 cm). This mirror is a reproduction after the original produced in 1948. It is fashioned from shaped, green patinated metal (believed to be steel) with golden bronze mounts. This vintage, rectangular walnut mirror dates from the height of the Art Deco period, circa 1920-1940, and features classical decorative bronze mounts at the corners and sides (including swags, rosettes and wreaths). Measures 49" high by 28 3/4" wide by approximately 1" deep. Veneer has small losses at each of the four corners on the edge.
This vintage mirror features a solid wooden frame with half-round and bevel molded frame covered in polished brass. Measures 24" wide, 36" high and 1.25" deep, and weighs an estimated 20-25 lbs. Brass is relatively clean, and frame is solid with no restoration or repairs required. There is some pitting here and there, and modest dents and nicks, all consistent with age. This unique Danish magazine stand, circa 1960, has side pockets that expand and collapse with the pull of the top handle. Designer is unknown. Measures 19.25" long, 21.5" high and 10.5" deep. Height increases to 23.5" with sides closed. Weighs an estimated 6-9 lbs. One brass let tip is missing.
