GILT SILVER ENAMEL COMPACT PAINTING SCENE LARGE 1920s This is absolutely the best gilt silver and enamel compact from the 1920s I have ever seen. The workmanship is exquisite. The enamelling is likened to that of a master painter. There is so much going on, the colors and detail are magnificent. The photos do not do this piece justice.
