This is an old sterling silver "E" Army Navy Production Award Pin from WWII,1940's.
The War Department bestowed the Army-Navy "E" Flag award to companies for their outstanding contributions to war efforts. It is the symbol of the highest honor an organization can achieve for war production. Measures 1/2 x 1 inch. Has red,white and blue enameling. There is a lot of loss to the enameling.
