| Here is a rare beautiful handcrafted seal skin purse handbag bag and matching wallet custom made for my Grandmother in 1953. My father commissioned Chief Tony Blair of the US Navy at that time to make the set while stationed in Argentia, Newfoundland during the Korean War. This set is in mint condition. It has never been used. The purse measures 9 x 7 1/2 x 3-4 1/2(expandable) inches. Has a leather shoulder strap that converts to a hand strap. There is a large zippered pocket on the inside along with an open pocket. Looks to be backed in leather or some other tan material. Beautiful hand weaving of leather as trim all around purse. The wallet measures about 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches closed. Open the wallet measures 9 x 3 3/4 inches. The wallet has a 2-tone design of leathers on the inside. There is a snap closured coin pocket. Plenty of slots for photos,cards,etc. Lots of room for lots of paper bills. Also trimmed in a leather weave. The closure on the purse is a fancy brass plate with barrel type knob.
