LANCASTER, Pa. 16j RUBY Model 18 Size Hunting Circa; 1885. Rare. Predecessor to the Hamilton Watch Co. in Lancaster, Pa. 1879 – 1886. Sold to the Keystone Standard Co. in 1886 and in 1892 sold to the Hamilton Watch Co. This surviving example features both a mint porcelain original dial and movement! The watch is clean, running and very collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: White porcelain single sunken signed; “LANCASTER, Pa.” Mint rare original dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, 5/8 plate nickel, “PATENT pinon”, Lever Set, 16 Jewels, signed; “Ruby/ Lancaster, Pa.”, #191,031. The last 12 months of production.
