** SOUTH BEND No. 346 HUNTING MODEL CASE Circa: 1908. Fine and rare. Two Star Rarity in all price guides. Brothers George, Clement and uncle John M. Studebaker, purchased the successful Columbus W.Co. The serial numbers started at 380,501 where the Columbus serial numbers stopped. Production ended in 1929 with 380,000 watches produced. This model was the highest grade hunting model South Bend produced. Only the Studebaker was a higher grade with 21j. Cased in a yellow gold filled plain polished case, this watch is in excellent condition and the plates are free of distraction. Especially collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: Single sunken white porcelain signed; "South Bend". MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, lever set, "17 Jewels", "No. 346", "South Bend", #525,856. Special checkerboard damascening pattern. Very nice. CASE: Plain polish yellow gold filled hunting case with the original owners initials on back center. NOTE: Please view our return policy for exchanges and returns.
