Kimono wiith shibkori done in the Three Friends of Winter motif: Pine, Bamboo, & Plum. The purple silk shibori is in excellent condition. The lining is taupe silk and an off white cotton. The cotton portion has some stains, please see photos for condition.

Buddhist brass bell from the mid-later Showa period. There is discoloration to the outer side of the bell, perhaps residue from incense. It is in good condition, is signed on inner bell and there is an unreadable mark on the bell clapper. Weighs unpacked 9 pounds 8 ounces.

Black lacquer with undertones of umber is the background for the Chinese scholar and crane as they stroll on the pathway. The vase well holds a bamboo insert for the floral arrangement. There are nicks along an edge and one side of the vase and a corner has loss of lacquer.

This wood oka-mochi was used to deliver food. There are two rectangular boxes for food storage with a removable black lacquered shelf in the lower unit. The handle and cross bars are lacquered as well as the box's interiors. There is minor wood loss on the handle and other areas of the carrying box.

Offered for sale is this vintage "half under kimono" or Han Juban made of cotton flannel (body) and sleeves of silk with a light weight wool lining. There is a 1/16 inch hole in the silk sleeve and the faded saffron colored wool lining has numerous holes and mends (boro) in both sleeve linings. The collar is fraying. Please see photos for condition.
