This chunky pup has the artist's mark on the bottom. It's totally appealing with its playful pose and curled tail. It has the big eyes and tipped ears of a chin pup, but it could also be said to be a baby shishi, or lion dog. There's a drilled hole in the bottom of the raised paw so perhaps there was a ball with it originally. Dimensions: Height: 5-1/2" Length: 7-1/2" Width: 5" Weight, unboxed: 6lbs. 8 oz. Please add $17.00 for Priority Mail shipping in the continental U.S. Other locations may inquire for shipping quote.

Bronze rooster is roughly shaped yet perfectly depicted. The artist's impressionistic style captured the bird's essence in a form that looks like molten slag with the appearance of iron. Dimensions: Height: 13-1/2" Length: 8" Width: 4-1/4" Weight, unpacked: 7 lbs, 10 oz. Rearing bronze horse is rendered with grace and strength. This piece is more finely shaped than many; it has slender legs and a sinewy neck. The mane tosses fluidly as the stallion expresses his high spirits. Dimensions: Height: 11-1/2" Length: 11--5/8" Width at base: 3-3/4" Weight, unboxed: 6lbs, 4 oz. The strength and prowess of the panther is exhibited in this signed bronze. The feline energy is brilliantly communicated throughout the piece from the angle of the head to the weight of the tail. There are a few spots of oxidation on the patina as seen in the last photograph. The included hardwood display stand is original to the piece. It dates from mid-century and has its original (signed) tomobako. Dimensions (without stand): Height: 4-5/8" Length: 13-3/8" Width: 3" Weight, unboxed: 5lbs. 6 oz. Please add $24.00 for insured Parcel Post shipping in the continental U.S. Other locations may inquire for shipping quote.

There's something comical about this cat's ferocity. Perhaps it's the size of his feet. The artist captured many feline attributes in the rough clay, and the cat looks ready to stalk his prey. The dark red clay contains flakes of metal (or other material). The maker's mark is on the underside and he has his own box. Dimensions: Height: 4" Length: 7-1/2" Width: 3-3/4" Please add $11.00 for insured Parcel Post shipping in the continental U.S. Other locations may inquire for shipping quote.

A dragon defends the red stamp ink inside this three-footed bronze pot. There's a maker's mark on the bottom. A hanko (chop) is included. Probably a showa piece. The ink is somewhat dried out but will still make a stamp as seen in the photos. Dimensions: Diameter: 3" Height: 1-1/2" Please add $12.50 for insured Priority Mail shipping in the continental U.S. Other locations may inquire for shipping quote.
