Plain keyaki wood (zelkova) with brown finish, decorated in black lacquer with a cricket among susuki grasses. Brown finished wood interiors. Unsigned. Height 2 5/8” (6.7 cm), diameter 2 5/8” (6.7 cm). Purchased in Japan around 1980. Tiny scratch at top, otherwise perfect condition.
