| Here is an absolutely beautiful sterling silver repousse Art Nouveau cigar cutter watch fob that probably dates from the late 19th c. to the early 20th c. The photo does not due it justice. It measures 1 3/8” long without the loop from which it hangs. It is approximately 5/8” at its widest. It has an attached loop and second loop from which it can be worn as a pendant, on a fob or on a chatelaine. It has a finger hole that goes all the way through. It is marked Sterling and 925 fine with a crown hallmark on one side. The other side has a space for a monogram in the same spot. The blade has an etched crown on one side and Germany on the other. This beautiful piece may be small in size but big in design with delicate and swirling repousse work, so typical of the Art Nouveau period. Excellent vintage condition with a sharp blade. | |||||
