This is an early 19th century Chinese Blanc de Chine figurine of Guanyin. Apart from the damage to the crown (see picture)and a small fingertip, the figure is in remarkable condition. No cracks or chips where you would expect them. A small restoration to the crown will turn this statue a crown on any ones collection. Height is 15"3 or 39 cm.

Beautiful and serene Chinese bronze of guanyin from the Jiaqing period 1786 - 1820 or possibly somewhat earlier. It has a wonderfull and untouched patin.Unfortunately the riyuji-staff in her right hand has broken of at some time with a fingertip. Other than that it's in good condition. A very fine work of art. Appr. height 8" or 20 cm.

This is a wonderful and large Chinese bamboo carving of a mountain scene as so often painted by Chinese artists. In here you can see an official riding a donkey with his helper carrying bow and sword walking beside him descending from a village or maybe a teahouse high up in the mountains. Because of some wear at just one place namely at the figures and donkey I think this piece was used as an Calligraphers armwresth. A rare and delicately made copper and silver Tibetan ewer. Second half 18th century. Silver fittings at base of the spout and spout opening also at the rim and base and a silver embossed three bird emblem representing the circle of life on both sides. Beautiful patina and in very good condition. Museum quality object. H. 17 cm. or appr. 6"7 (I was told that the ewer might have been used with the practice/ritual of a sky burial.)

A pair of absolute top quality bronze vases with all around silver inlaid lotus flowers. Cloud motives on top and bottom rims. Beautiful stylized dragon handles.The silver has naturally gone black. They are in pristine condition. Height without the base 11" or 28 cm. Finely carved wood bases. To find "a pair" of vases like these two can be considered very rare.

Beautifull miniature restored chinese ewer of the early Song period. Celadon glazed body with wonderfull age cracking all over. This pot was in a musueum collection at one time I was told but replaced by another (better?) example. The visible restoration was done at the museum.
