Simsa cho - 'shoerealism' - glass-sculpture 1994.
Simsa Cho (artist name) or Kasema Shinji studied in Japan and at the famous Rietveld academie in Holland. This early sculpture from 1994 has no specific title other then "Shoerealism no title" but the artist agrees with me that 'duality' as a new title would not be far of how he felt in the time he made it. A beautiful glassculpture from a great contemporary and still working artist with roots in Korea, Japan and the Netherlands. His work is found in many musea around the world. I had the honor being in contact with this aimable artist, thought briefly and from a distance, he made quite an impression on me. Stands appr. 11"5 x 6"5 or 29 x 17 cm. Materials: Glass, gold and natural stone. Signed '94 Simsa. Confirmed by artist authentic sculpture.
