This adorable set of puzzle blocks, circa 1910-20's, has all of its original paper pictures as well as a postcard wishing the first owner a happy birthday. Purchased in France, the box measures 6-1/2" x 8-1/4" and although split along the front, it is still intact. The blocks measure a little more than 1-1/4" square. Six scenes in all (the cover of the wooden box counts as one) the colors are vibrant & the images are just amazing - pastoral scenes, children playing croquet, children on the beach - such a charming set.
