Beautiful small antique English tea caddy in a sarcophagus shape with bun feet. Tea caddy has a wonderful patina, and the wood is either mahogany or rosewood. Has two compartments with fitted lids with knob handles. Has original brass hinges and keyhole but no key. Measures 7 7/8" wide, 5.5" high, and 4.5" deep. Condition is excellent but not perfect. I believe some of the feet have been reglued and one edge shows wear to the veneer. Please email for additional photos. This is really a fantastic box and would make a great addition to your decor or collection. |
