This is a nice example of Victorian cut steel jewelry. It dates to pre-1900 and measures almost 3 1/2 inches in length and is in a design that looks like wings to me. It is covered with tiny cut steel stones with a lot of facets. The smaller stones with the most facets can be used to date the piece to pre-1900. The piece is backed with and riveted to another piece that looks like brass so it is very sturdy. It has a c-clasp with no damage or missing pieces.

Gorgeous is the word for these genuine Victorian period earrings measuring almost 2 1/2 inches in length. They still have their original handmade heavy tested 10kt gold kidney shaped wires from which dangle a 10mm round banded agate bead, then a gold colored bar and a 20x10mm flat banded agate tear drop shaped drop. I think the bar is a replacement or later addition. They look wonderful when worn. Circa pre-1900.

This is a pair of Victorian pieces with one being a large stick and the other a brooch. The brooch is hand-painted with gold trim and blue and white flowers. It is porcelain and held onto a gold toned backing with six prongs all intact. It has a locking c-clasp which I think is a replacement of the original. It measures 1 inch in diameter. The second piece is a really nice stick pin measuring just shy of 1 inch in diameter. It tests for 10kt gold but may be a heavy old plating. It has beautiful ...click for details

This is a very fine Victorian piece in excellent condition. It is a large 2 3/4 inches in length and topped with a beautiful seed pearl set flower with a green cat's eye cabochon center. There are many seed pearl studded branches and another, smaller flower further down the stem holding another green cat's eye stone. At the bottom the stems are tied with a seed pearl set ribbon. It is a lovely design with no missing or replaced stones. It has a c-clasp on the back in excellent working co ...click for details

This is a small lot of Bohemian garnet pieces. First is a small pair of screwback earrings in a flower design measuring 7/16 of an inch in diameter. The stick pin matches the earrings. The pendant is newer and measures 1 1/4 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide. All are unmarked. I think the pendant is silver and the other two are gold over silver or a gold colored metal. There is some solder on the back of the earrings. It is not noticeable on the front but I want to mention it for accuracy. Circ ...click for details

This is a classic Victorian piece made of tested 10kt gold in several colors. It is in two parts with the top portion designed as an inverted "v" with three applied flowers done in smooth and brushed yellow gold and scroll work on the top. Attached to the top portion is another scrolled piece from which dangles a gold diamond shaped pendant with a brushed rose gold plaque set with a brushed yellow gold flower. The three colors of the gold look really beautiful together. The back has a ...click for details

This is a genuine Victorian cut steel buckle still intact and attached to its original cut steel and blue glass bead belt. If you are a collector of Victorian work, this would be a nice example to own. It measures 24 inches in length and was well taken care of. The buckle measures 2 1/2 inches in length and 1 3/4 inches in width. There is no fraying on the edges of the belt and it is preserved perfectly. There is some rust to the cut steel but I have not cleaned this piece and will leave that de ...click for details

This is a lovely vintage marked "sterling" floral brooch with two large leaves and five flowers. It has very nice detailing depicting the veining in the leaves and hand applied beading to the center of the flowers. It measures 2 1/8 inches tall and 2 inches wide. It has a locking c-clasp. It is not heavy so even though it is large it will not pull on the fabric when worn. The silver picks up the light beautifully.

This is a heavy etched chain measuring 45 inches in length. It is continuous with no clasp and is 3/16 of an inch in width. I am not sure of the age on this chain. It may be vintage but it looks to be an antique chain. It is in excellent condition and with a design that resembles a paisley motif. I am not sure of the metal. It does not test gold but it does not look filled or plated either. It may be Pinchbeck or just a gold colored metal. It is very pretty and very wearable.
