This is a rare and fabulous antique piece dating to circa 1880 to 1890. The garnets are deep blood red Bohemian garnets from Europe. The orb measures 3/4 of an inch or 20mm in diameter and is set with all original garnets. The garnet on the tip is larger than the others and caps off the piece beautifully. This bracelet has the most beautiful delicate wirework surrounding a large approximately 23mm x 12mm hand-carved coral cabochon. The wirework is very fine and the motif is very organic looking - almost like sea shells set with applied florets. The metal is silver with gold vermeil still intact and in good condition.
