| This is a statement ring set with a huge, tall, carved genuine coral stone. It is unusual, eye catching, and beautiful. The setting is a marked 14kt yellow gold setting. The band is 4mm in width. The base of the ring has a beautiful cut-out filigreed design on top of which stands a carved coral rose which is 5/8 of an inch in height and 15mm in width. It is carved on one side with a rose and the back side is carved like the back of the flower encased in its leaves. The stone is classic salmon colored coral with a tad of white streaking in the top and back. It has a high polish, no chips and is in fabulous condition. The ring is a size 8 and can be easily re-sized by your jeweler. I am not sure on the date of this ring but I would guestimate it is retro - to the 1960's but may be earlier. A great gift for someone special!!! | ||
