| This is a beautiful antique pair of earrings made of vulcanite as mourning jewelry. Vulcanite was patented by Charles Goodyear and became very popular as a material for jewelry at that time. These have a nice design consisting of three carved dangling bells with a bead on the on and on the bottom. They measure 1 3/4 inches in length without the pierced wires. One of the top beads has a few nicks and one nick on one of the bottom. The bells are hand carved and in fine condition. Overall very nice and collectible. Circa 1880. | ||
