A carved alabaster kohl tube and mirror combination utensil with a broad leaf shaped handle and stylised duck's head suspension loops at the top. The object is pierced vertically from the top to form a tube for storing kohl which extends to the bottom of the handle. The round chiselled section at the front would originally have held a disc of polished reflective glass held in place with plaster.
