A very large burnished red pottery bowl mounted with a single handle at one end and two flared spouts linked by a bridge at the other. There is some applied decoration one side of the body and some incised linear decoration on the handle and spout-bridge.
This type of bowl must have been used as a mixing vessel, presumably with some sort of ceremonial function as they are invariably mounted with two spouts which serve no obvious practical purpose.
Cyprus, Early Bronze Age, c. 2500 - 1900 BC
