A solid cast bronze arm from a large statuette of a deity.
The casting is of the highest quality and minute details can still be observed on the fingers and thumb. The dove-tailed attachment tang is also interesting as it shows how larger-scale figures were assembled by Egyptian master craftsmen.
Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 730-332 BC
Intact as shown.

A partially glazed pottery vessel in the form of a male bust with exaggerated features which were probably intended to represent a negroid or Nubian.
The buff pale red clay is glazed in areas to define the hair and a thick beard; drapery and/or a necklace is also depicted.
The top of the head is mounted with a narrow flaring spout which suggests that the vessel may have been used to contain oils.
East Greek, probably from the island of Rhodes, 6th Century BC
