A fragment of wall or floor decoration consisting of re-used ancient stone tesserae set in a later plaster matrix. The stones include porphyry and green breccia which were both highly valued in antiquity and reserved for use in the finest buildings.
Islamic, 17th or 18th Century AD
Fragment as shown. The plaster matrix is very stabile and this piece could easily be used as a paperweight or similar ornament.

A bronze earring decorated with a dove perched on a semi-circular openwork frame.
Islamic, c. 10th - 12th Century AD
Intact as shown, the lower part of the earring is glued into the wooden base so this has not been inspected and has been cut off in the photographs.

A tall and slender unguent flask made from opaque black glass and decorated with incised zig-zag lines as well as red trailing decoration. The rim is mounted with a pair of ornamental loop handles.

A clear pale green glass pendant in the form of an amphora, decorated with blobs and trails of opaque red glass.
Egypt, Islamic Period, c. 10th-15th Century AD
A very small chip form the point of the base otherwise intact.
