| This is an Imari plate from around 1680-1690 ("Edo shoki" or early Edo period, probably during the reign of Emperor Genroku) with celadon glaze and a ribbed and fluted rim. The reverse side shows one spur mark. Diameter 15 cm (6"), condition perfect, except for the onset of crazing on the front side. | |||||||
