This is a very-well painted Japanese plate from the 1920s, produced either in Yokohama or Kutani.
It is decorated with a riverscape with birds and Mount Fuji in the background. The reverse is undecorated and bears a mark showing a stylised mountain and the Japanese kanji "I" (which translates as "water well"). Diameter 18.5 cm, perfect state. |
