While visiting his Mother, on the Gulf Coast of Ocean Springs Mississippi, Max watched the water flood in from the sea reaching 9 feet up the stairs to the upper floors. Max and his Mom were ready to jump into the waves and swim for it but luckily the water receded. He is Staying for a while in Mississippi to reflect on the power and beauty of nature and his place within. These are his first paintings since leaving California.
