Elegant antique japanese cloisonne humidor featuring a finely detailed depiction of flowers, birds and butterflies. The background is a very appealing shade of blue and the multicolored designs are masterful.
Inside the lid is a domed chamber with many small holes. There is a sliding door that opens and closes (see pic).
Height to top of lid knob: 6 3/4". Width at widest part 4 1/2".
Condition very nice, some fine lines on lid. I do not think knob is original.

Exquisite meiji japanese satsuma bowl featuring a profusion of highly detailed designs with raised enamelling and profusion of gold. It is signed on the base.
The outside features 4 panels, two of them with ornately dressed people in variant outdoor scenes with water and foliage. Two panels feature multicolored flowers.
The inside of bowl has two panel depictions of people surrounded by a variety of intricate multicolored design.
