This is a beautiful highest quality portrait of a lady by well known Italian artist Ferdinando Cavalleri (1794-1865). Cavalleri was born in Turin, worked in Roma, was a professeur of Academy de Saint-Luc. According to Artprice.com another portrait painting by F.Cavalleri was sold on Sotheby's auction in Milan at 05.27.07 for $26 910.
