Antique Chinese 6-panel inlaid lacquer screen framed in hardwood (Huanghuali?). Design of scholar objects, carved jade animals, flower arrangements in archaic motif vases, and a pair of cloisonne and gilt animals at the bottom center all on black lacquer ground. The back side is black lacquer with series of medallions with different designs interspersed with flowers. 19th century.

Chinese pair of vintage cabinets made with 19th century
carved panels. Each cabinet is lacquered red, interior has one shelf (removable). The carving is of many figures of noble men, women and children involved in different activities apparently in preparation for a large celebration. Beautiful pavilion settings, gold lacquer high lights and painted black details.

Antique Chinese pair of very finely carved ivory pieces depicting two warriors on horseback, each figure is different, each holding long spear, horses are especially beautiful, wonderful overall detail and condition. Circa 1920.

Antique Japanese large and deeply carved ranma depicting three sages (from left to right): Le-tieguai (with the iron crutch) , Zheng si yuan (with the tiger) and Gama Sennin (with the frog). There is much of the original paint still intact. Wonderfully carved with great detail and expression. Most likely from a Shinto temple. Edo Period (18th century).
