A small Chinese brass lock done in the form of a bat with the character happiness on the back. The lock is done in a style where the peaches is a separate piece and when the lock is set, it appears as if the bat is carrying the peach. Age: 20th century. Size: length 2.25" width 3" height 1.5"
A pair of Chinese cloisonne horse decorated with archaic geometric designs often seen in Chinese bronzes from the Shang dynasty with motifs of dragons and phoenixes. Chinese gilt bronze image of a buddha in deep meditation. The buddha is seated in dyanasana with a dyana mudra. He is wearing ornately adorned robes with floral tendrils. The buddha rests on a pedestal with images of the the birth of Buddha. It measures 7" tall, base 4.75" wide at widest. Early 20th century.
