Very ornate Japanese ivory small two panel table screen. Front is decorated with gorgeous scene of birds and flowers with shibayama inlay of gold lacquer and mother of pearl, gold lacquer boarder, carved ivory frame with phoenixes. The back is Komai style inset with iron and inlaid with gold in a landscape scene. Meiji Period, beautiful condition. Signed: Masakazu Size: 12 1/8" high x 13 1/8" wide.
