DESCRIPTION: A charming pair of earthenware hand-painted piglet salt and pepper shakers, each pig sporting a bow tie and cap. Good condition, “MEXICO” stamped on base, cork stoppers. DIMENSIONS: Each approximately 3" high.

DESCRIPTION: A sturdy wooden champagne grape box or crate used in French vineyards at harvest time. This one has touches of red paint, “GHM MA CHAMPAGNE” stenciled on both sides and handholds notched into the slats at the top. These boxes enhance a country provincial decorating style while functioning as split log holders for the fireplace or the perfect place to toss your wet or snowy boots in winter. DESCRIPTION: A good country wood game board in original paint with alternating hand painted black and metallic silver/gold squares outlined in red pin stripes. Abrasions to area in center of board; sturdy construction. DIMENSIONS: 15.75” square x 7/8” thick.

DESCRIPTION: Wonderful melon-shaped split oak basket with a sturdy bentwood handle which is oak-wrapped on both ends. This early 1900’s basket is in great condition with no losses noted. DIMENSIONS: 15" long x 12.5" wide; height with handle is 11", w/o 8".

DESCRIPTION: A very good woven oak-splint basket in lobed buttocks form, used as a field gathering basket or a market basket for goods. This large early 1900’s Pennsylvania basket has a sturdy bentwood handle with double bentwood-wrapped rims; old varnish finish. Very good condition with minor usage wear. For size reference, the last photo in this listing shows this basket displayed on top of our Country Corner Cabinet (#A-CBL2). DIMENSIONS: 20” wide x 17" high.

DESCRIPTION: A colorful folk art game board of alternating red and black squares for playing checkers or chess, bordered by green and white triangles, giving an overall pleasing geometric effect. An eye hook has been mounted on one edge for hanging; very good condition, C. 1900's. DIMENSIONS: 17.5” square.

DESCRIPTION: A hand painted and artist signed steer skull with copper accents. The white steer skull is hand painted with Native American designs and incorporates ornamental attachments including copper plates over the eye sockets, an attached copper ring at the top of the skull, and hanging ornaments of leather strips, copper tubing and feathers.
