A fine and early English saucer showing a Chinese man with a bird. Done in blue and white, lot 303 of the Bonham's sale of the famous and important Watney collection showed this same pattern and identified it as being William Reid porcelain.

The saucer is in excellent condition and is 4 7/8" in diameter.

NOTE: William Reid & Co. were porcelain makers in Liverpool between 1756-61. Their factory was situated on Brownlow Hill where a bone-ash porcelain was produced.

A Very Fine 5 Korean Flower/Bird Panel Paintings(花鳥圖)-19th C./ framed and ready for hanging. Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. The group of 5 bird and flower paintings are painted on paper and ink and color, each painting painted with different birds and flowers, a paulownia with Phoenix, magnolia with Parrot, pine with Crane and a peony with pheasant. It’s in good condition/some stains, each framed with Plexi glass. It measures 67cm x 37.5cm.

Mid-late 1800s, Chinese seed coral hat finial made with hundreds of small coral beads that were wired and woven to form the finial over a brass base. This removable finial still has its brass screw-pin. Measures: Bead only 1 1/8" diameter x 1 1/4"high. As shown with screw 1 1/2" high.

German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. Stocky body, flexed ears, flicked-back tail handle, and hinged and stippled back flap with engraved wreath and applied fly finial. A gentle face with red-glass eyes and gaping-mouth spout. A capacious dispenser on four firmly planted hoofs. German marks and American importer’s mark for Buchholz & Zelt in New York. Very good condition.

Applied cast oval medallions that depict not austere Roman patricians and their virtuous helpmates but sailor-suited boys and kitty-clutching girls. 19th century Japanese ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in a form of a natural fruit pit skillfully carved with 2 scenes of scholars engaged in discussions, all among swirling clouds. Excellent carving in deep relief with precise undercutting and complete piercing of the body of the pit. Very nice mellow brown patina, in excellent condition. Height 1/2 inches.

Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. R112QT. Very good condition.

Campanian squat lekythos decorated with the head of a woman wearing a segmented sakkos sparing a tuft at the temple. The Campanian headdress is stitched along the joins and leaves a bun at rear.
Eye and eyebrow are indicated with short lines, mouth and nostrils with tiny dots.
Tiny lines to extend the round chin. The woman wears a necklace and an earring.
The sideward tendril with scrolls that frame vestigial blossoms...
