The style is very attractive with a beautiful painted visage with serene features. The style looks mostly like provincial Thai, but we're not certain. The figure has much age and a fine dark gilt patina.

A very rare and superb Octagon British Wooden TEA CADDY WITH TORTOISE SHELL AND MOTHER OF PEARL inlays, ca. 1800.
The top knob for opening and the 4 small feet are made of bone. The tea caddy comes with the original key and the mechanism works well.

Bato Kannon Ca. 1870 (horse-headed Kannon, also called Mezu Kannon), hayagriiva in Sanskrit, is one shape of Bosatsu (Bodhisattva) worshipped in Buddhism. It is one of the transformations of Kannon Bosatsu (Kannon Bodhisattva) and is also included in Roku Kannon (six deities of mercy). It has fierce expression, which is rare for Kannon. Granite stone, age wear, hands in gassho prayer mudra. Ask for shipping quote.
This elegant vase with a baluster body and mouth with a wide rounded rim, decorated with large gold oval detail, elaborate dragon handles in gold accents and repeating design around the shoulder, with a finely detailed pedestal base. Signed on the white base with the Meissen crossed swords and a number 2.

A pair early Eighteenth century English mahogany carved end caps or architectural pieces. Each piece slightly different. The pieces measure 7.5” x 3” and are high relief scroll design with heads of Puti (HIRSH)
An authentic ancient Chinese Nephrite Bi disc made from five matching segments. The stone is a pale to mid-green with some darker inclusions and area of white (alteration of the stone). The piece measures some 4-1/2" (11cm) in diameter. This piece is ancient and is guaranteed to be ancient to the original purchaser.
This is an authentic neolithic nephrite jade adze/chisel, measuring some 9" (22cm) in length and 1" (2.5cm) in width. A heavy, substantial piece, guaranteed ancient. The stone is a beautiful deep green with substantial dark inclusions. The tapered end shows apparent signs of use.
Small and elegant vase from around 1900, silver thread cloisonne enamel depicting flowers and birds in the style of Hayashi Kodenji. Auspicious Kanji mark to base: great happiness (?). Height "6/ 15.3 cm. Condition: enamel loss on the shoulder covered with black paint (cf. pics) and an associated scratch mark.
