Nice old red and black lacquered Cambodian Siri (betel) box container with foliate scroll pattern incised on the surface. Minor lacquer losses and restoration consistent with an antique piece. The art of Cambodian lacquer production has had a minor renaissance in recent years but this mainly done for the decorative art export market, items made for local village use this has pretty much died out after Khmer Rouge Era and advent of cheap Chinese plastic boxes...

Offered is this very rare Daum Nancy Pate de Verre snail figurine, made around 1920 (while Argy-Rousseau and Amalric Walter pate de Verre figurines come up to the marketplace on a somewhat regular basis, one rarely encounters an original Daum Nancy Pate de Verre figurine). The figurine is 5 3/4 inches (14,5 cm) long, 5 1/4 inches (13,5 cm) wide and 2 7/8 inches (7,5 cm) tall. It is in great condition. Signed 'Daum Nancy' with the cross-of-Lorraine (see picture)...

Beautiful antique Burmese Sutra, printed on leaves depicting different stories of the Buddha with his teachings. With fine printed writings on the back side and around the edges. Incised and stained with ink. Held together with lacquered and gilted wood with a raised scrolling leaves designs, lions and elephants. Age: Late 19th Century / early 20th century. Very rare Khmer black lacquer “pillow box” with an abstract floral pattern. This is an old pre Khmer Rouge item, dating 50 to 60 years old, possibly more. The unique decoration makes this a one of a kind piece, the construction is typically Cambodian, in that it is constructed with thin small planks of wood and is coated with raw lacquer on the bottom, and this was sourced in the “Russian Market” about 15 years ago in Phnom Phenh...

Antique Japanese Butsudan shrine, in 3-sections secured by mortise and tenon joinery and by side ropes. The exterior is lacquered in black with gilt decorative hardware and panels. Its bottom section has three drawers, two sliding panels with gilt floral medallions, and a pull-out shelf with a gilt lotus bouquet. The front doors open with a second set of gilt mesh panels with painted floral motifs on each one...

Offered is this beautiful French cameo glass vase made by Andre Delatte of Nancy (a contemporary of Daum of Nancy), around 1920. The vase is 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) tall and is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) wide at the base. It is in very good condition. It is cameo signed, 'A. Delatte Nancy' (the 'Nancy'-part is faded). It is also artist signed by, what looks like, 'Michel-Mel Harbe' (see last picture).

This is a Women's Art Deco Platinum Diamonds Wrist Watch from a Washington D.C. Estate. The size is 13/16" X 9/16", 1 1/8" long lug to lug. There are 26 accent Diamonds on the edge of the Case, single cut stones weighing approximately 1/4 Carat. The Back is engraved LLK from LAK. Note the black cloth strap with a small St. Christopher enamel medal attached. A Quartz Movement has been installed in this Watch (found originally with a movement that could not be saved) ...

Antique Japanese unusual tansu made from a very attractive Keyaki (elm wood) burl coated in original lacquer finish. It has drawers of varying sizes, with warabite shaped iron handles, the top and bottom drawers have decorative iron lock plating incised with a floral design, safebox in bottom corner with original key. Unusual size with stunning original finish and exquisite iron work. Early Meiji Period (1868 - 1912) Size: 34.5" H x 29" L x 17" D

Charming and unusually small black and red lacquer vessel from Kenteng, Shan State, Burma. A very cute piece and genuinely old- circa 80 years. This piece is uncommon in that it has six feet instead of the usual four. The entire piece is covered in red lacquer with a black lacquer overcoat on the outside. There is surface craqueleur as to be expected from authentic old lacquer but no breakage in the body. D: 13.5cm/5.3in and H: 8.2cm/3.2in.

French Limoges Porcelain Plate, Feu de four pattern, Ca. 1910, 9 3/4" diameter, raised brilliant gold repeated diamond shape design border inside the raised round dots in the outer gold scalloped edge rim, faded and free style of transfer decoration of the Poppy flowers and branches towards to the center. Underglaze green mark "Haviland France Feu de four" and overglaze red mark "Haviland & Co. Limoges, for A. B. Griswold" on the bottom. The condition of gold is in excellent and no damages.

A very rare Chinese burl wood box in ruyi shape and with multiple compartments inside the box. Early 20th century. The previous owner purchased it from Hong Kong in the 1970's. Condition: small age cracks.Dimensions: 10-5/8"L X 4"W X 1-3/4"H.
