This is Shirushi-Hanten used in Kyoto for Edo period. This is dyed with a natural indigo plant. As for this, cotton is spun by hand. And this has good texture. As for this, a pattern is dyed in Tsutsugaki.
This has the stain such as the image. There is no damage.

This is Shounai-Obi used in Shounai for Edo period. This is woven in cotton and Koyori. This is considerably thick. As for this, cotton is dyed with a natural indigo plant. This has slight gradation in a stripe. This has a bunch of beautiful cotton at the both ends. This has a few stains, but does not stand out. There is no damage. Size 350cm x 20.5cm (137.7 "x 8")

It is 6 inches (15.2 cm) tall by 2.5 inches (6.3 cm) wide.

This is Noragi used in the Shonai, Yamagata district for the Meiji period. As for this, cotton is used for the warp. And cotton thread and Koyori-Paper colored into a weft with a natural indigo plant are used.

This a Kioto School Netsuke, carved in Late 18th / Early 19th centuries, that depicts a seated and laughing Hotei. His robe falling open to reveal a large hairy belly. The robe with incised geometrical patterns. Faithful time-period chimney himotoshi. Wonderful two-tone patina; a shade darker on the back and bottom. Netsuke measures 1.66 inches (4.2cm) wide, and 1.12 inches (2.8cm) tall...
A fun pressed brass picture frame in the form of an early automobile. The frame is cleverly designed with vanishing point perspective to appear three dimensional. Apparently, it was originally a desk calendar and the original calendar inserts from 1907 have been used as a backing for the current photograph.

A delightful bronze dresser mirror, the entire frame ornately decorated in the form of two Pierrot figures and a smiling man-in-the-moon. Pierrot was a originally a Comedia dell’Arte character, but in the 18th century, he and the moon became inextricably linked in the French children’s song, “Au Claire de la Lune.” There are a few variations of this mirror; this is the most ornate, with the intricately beveled glass. The detailing of the figures is excellent.

A beautiful Chinese huanghuali side table of simple, elegant design with lavish grain and a warm lacquer finish. Wonderful Condition.

DESCRIPTION: A large polychromed wood figure of Saint Martin De Porres, Peruvian, 18th C. Here he is depicted gazing upward toward heaven, arms outstretched, wearing his Dominican robe embroidered in gold with a long painted rosary dangling past his waist. His white undergarment is richly painted with flowers and gold leafy tendrils. Carved in full round, his head is set with glass eyes and he retains a good amount of the original paint...
Original Antique Japanese gyosho bako (merchant's chest) made from kiri (paulownia) wood with a red lacquer finish. Its front features two doors on iron hinges, with iron fan shaped corner hardware and locks. Many drawers of varying size and handle styles sit within. The sides of the box have iron rings for a merchant to attach straps and carry. Original condition and glowing finish. Wonderful piece.

Rarely do you find a pair of early 1800's Anglo Irish cut crystal decanters complete with their original stoppers. They are in excellent condition for their age with just a few small chips. The most notable is a chip on one of the bases that you can see when turning the decanter upside down. The decanters are stable, don't wobble, no hairlines, and no cracks. Measure about 9.75 inches high, diameter about 3.75". Dates Circa 1800-1850.

Mid 1800s
This tray has a well-painted floral design with green arabesques covering the interior. The exterior is lacquered black and undecorated. There is an overall crackle effect to the interior. There is no flaking, and old separations along the base and sides are stable. Generally, it is in good condition with only modest wear to the interior.
