This finely carved wooden netsuke is modelled showing a mouse clinging to the top of a hazelnut. There is a signature on the base. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.

This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France in the 1890s. They have a spurious Sevres mark but were most likely decorated by a Paris porcelain firm. The saucers have a diameter of 3 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups have a puffy, blown-out shape. The set is decorated with an elaborate raised gold pattern in two color gold. The interiors of the cups are coated with gold. The rims and handles are gilded. Condition: Excellent

This is a fine early Japanese Satsuma Koro done in the early or Gosu style. The stained decorative lid appears to be bronze. In person it is more detailed and attractive than the images show. Of note on the inside rim there is a fired factory flaw that is shown in the last image. Condition is excellent it stands 4 inches tall.

Unbelievable, rare Edo Period C.1860 large shop sign 'kanban' for liver medicine. It was believed if a little boy cried too much his liver needed some help. A large Japanese bronze tripod censer decorated with various auspicious motifs. Dragons and phoenix-like birds are set within a wave pattern known as seigaiha. The feet of the vessel are shaped like scrolling clouds. A censer such as this would have been used for incense at a temple.

A set of sword fittings compromising of a tsuba, pair of menuki, and fuchigashira. The menuki is chiseled in the katagiri style on shakudo with gold iroe embellishments. The fuchigashira are done in polished shibuichi bronze. The set comes with a special kiri box with purple chirimen silk to store the set.

Chinese hand scroll portraying a hunting scene attributed to, Jin Tingbiao (~1767). Four hunters with four horses are gathered in this scene either preparing a hunting party or finishing one. Views of hunting, known as shoulie wenwutu were first seen from the Yuan dynasty and succeeding dynasties continued to paint various renditions. Comes in a beautifully carved box.
