Interior has wide acid-etched band comprising curvilinear frame inset with stylized leaves. Wreath with same in center (vacant). Smart and Modern form with a Gothic twist. Hallmark includes pattern no. 17694 (first produced in 1910), director’s letter m (1907-47), and volume (2 pts). Good condition.

A rare & beautyful Ming Dynasty pottery procession set complete with palaquin, a male Mandarine figure sitting in the palaquin, 4 carriers and a musician.

The set dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

Very beautyful glaze and pigment colours on all parts. Originally the palaquin was carried by the bearers, but the wooden sticks that held it have decayed.

Sizes for the figures are c. 20 cm. The palaquin a little taller.

Here's an impressive Ming Dynasty pottery figure of an soldier riding a horse dating to Ming Dynasty China, 1368-1644 AD.

A type that we haven't seen before with unglazed coat, but glazed trousers and harness. He wears a case of arrows on his side.

The main of the horse is very elaborately styled.

Size: 36-37 cm in height and some 28 cm in length.

Condition: A choice figure with some wear.

A beautiful and substantial Tripod bronze Cauldron, South Sweden or Denmark, ca. late 17th. century.

A large and rather exceptional Cauldron on three profiled or ridged leges and with horisontical lines around the body, two handles of the Gotic type on either side, made in a bronze alloy. Faint letters on the body near one of the handle.

Size: ca. 36 cm. in diameter and nearly 20 cm. high.

Condition: Choice!, no repair and fine patina.
