This is an ancient Etruscan Impasto Jug with double handles, c. 650 BC. It has a few old chips from use but is otherwise intact. It is 5" tall x 4.25" wide (12.5 cm x 11 cm)and is from an old Dutch collection, possibly from Latium. A ribbed and pleasing shape.

Irish Georgian sterling silver beaker. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1915. Gently curved sides and flared rim. Easy-grip proportions for knocking back a yeasty home-brew. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 18863 (first produced in 1915), and director’s letter m as well as phrase “Reproduction / Original by / James Scott / Dublin 1797”. Edwardian Classical brilliant-cut glass water pitcher with sterling silver collar. Made by Wilcox (part of International) in Meriden, Conn., ca 1910. Baluster with c-scroll handle; ornament in form of leaf flutes, ferns, and stars. Beaded collar with helmet mouth; engraved interlaced script monogram. Silver marked “Sterling” with maker’s stamp. This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is made from a relatively high-fired grey pottery.

The jar has a flat base with marks showing it was removed from the potter's wheel by a piece of string or wire...

This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is made from a relatively highly-fired grey pottery. The reddish-brown surface colour is from the iron-rich burial soil.

It is made from a pale grey pottery. Decoration is fairly simple with strips of clay applied to the upper body to form five lotus leaf panels.

A set of 4 very old and nicely patinated European Powderhorns, made of flat-pressed cowhorns, leather and wood, all can be dated around 1700-1762.

One horn is particularly interesting, with the upperpart carved as an animals mouth, with an engraving of a deer and inscribed and dated 1706!
Another horn is dated and initialized to 1762, but is probably an earlier horn with a 1762 dating.

Authentic pair of gilded bronze bejeweled hands and arms with intricate detailed casting. Mounted on wooden display stands. Height (of metal) 25cm, length(of metal) 23cm. Undated, estimated to be late 19 th century or earlier. Each with Thai export seal attached. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide, weight unpacked 5 kilos.

A nice terracotta head of Bes, fragmentary and corroded, but substantial and with fine classic features, Egyptian, Late-Roman Period, 500-100 AD. Comes attached to the original German gift letter from the 1920s-1930s.
