Byzantine Bronze Head of a Griffin, ca. 5th - 6th Century CE. Found in the Holy Land. From the collection of Teddy Kollek, first mayor of unified Jerusalem. In excellent condition. 1 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/2", on custom lucite stand height is 4 1/2". Theodor "Teddy" Kollek was an Israeli politician who served as the mayor of Jerusalem from 1965 to 1993, and founder of the Jerusalem Foundation. Kollek was re-elected five times, in 1969, 1973, 1978, 1983 and 1989.
Antiques Annamese jarlet with lobed body and decorated with slight blackish flower scrolls around the body. Vietnam's 15th-16th century. Condition is good, no any crack and free from any restoration excepted a very tiny flake chip to rim. Height: 8 cm.
Baby's ceremonial kimono made of machine woven cotton with hand-painting with motif of noble people. It has se-mamori (charm) with silk thread. The diagonal stitches to the left means it is boy's kimono ( to the right is girl's ). In old days, it is believed that evils come from back and a baby is vulnerable without seam in the back, so se-mamori is put. In good condition but a bit dusty from aging. Dry cleaning only. A rare and fine multi-spiral opaque twist antique English wine glass or small goblet. The large round funnel bowl sits above a stem with a very tight and beautiful enamel twist. The stem is further complemented with shoulder and basal knops, a very unusual combination.
The glass is 6 11/16 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 1/16 inches and a foot diameter of 3 5/16 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. No chips, repairs, or condition problems. Good color, tool marks, and striations.

Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) Satsuma earthenware vase finely decorated around the circumference in polychrome enamel and gilt highlights with ladies and girls of the nobility engaged in leisure activities in an outdoor garden setting. The vase is moulded with densely decorated relief petals at the top and bottom. Koyama Nanpo mark to base. 6 1/8” high. 19th century. Excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This balustroid drinking glass has a round funnel bowl above a teared inverted baluster shoulder knop, a plain stem continuing to a cushioned basal knop all standing on a plain conical foot.
