The size of Charger: 10" Square x 1 7/8" High. Japanse Ko Imari Blue and White (Sometuke) Porcelain charger. The charger has very good detail Senbiki (line drawings works) of blue underglaze works in flower design. The charger has marking on the bottom. The condition of charger is Excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairlines. There are aged tiny spots around the edge of plate which are original. Not flaws. Please see the photos. Dating the charger from 1820-1850, late Edo.

Bullock cart decoration of a tiger carrying a woman in its jaws. This is base on an old Burmese folk tale about two brothers (messengers of King Anawathra- founder of Pagan) who fall in love with a young girl who rejects them and so they send a tiger to kill her. This is circa late 19th century there some damage and to the figure of the woman. H: 35cm/13.8in.
