A lovely pair of white paste earrings closed back set in silver gilt. Approximately 18 MM or .7 inches in width, these well scaled earrings can be dressed up or down. Made of "paste", a special glass and lead formula originating from George Ravenscroft, a London glassmaker, during the 17th century and perfected by a French jeweler Georges Strass in the 18th century. Each "paste" was handcarved to fit the setting. Paste has become very collectible and desirable and can no longer be made today...

C1890 60 inch long original full length French watch chain features lovely handcrafted filigree elements with its traditional links and filigree circles within the links. The chain can be worn doubled or tripled and with a pendant attached. An 18K French chain is a must for every woman's jewelry wardrobe! The hallmarks consist of a French eagle head (18K), bigorne marks, and a goldsmith's mark. The hallmarks are located on the ring that attaches to the clasp. The chain weighs 50 grams.

This intricately woven gold necklace with enameled serpent biting its tail, known as an ouroboros, is classically Georgian and circa 1790. Woven gold necklaces like this one took weeks to make and created enormous precision and painstaking detail. Our ouroboros snake necklace, with blue and green enameling and gold paint to denote the snake's scales and amethyst paste eyes, is a treasure to behold. It is quite a miracle that this necklace has survived over 200 years.

An extraordinary Chinese Rose Medallion tureen with underplate, grand size and details. The tureen measures 15 1/4" wide to ends of handles, is 10" deep and 12" high. The underplate measures 14 3/4" x 11 1/4" and is 1 3/4" high. One of the largest sizes found in tureens of this era, and it is beautifully painted with fine detail, gold ground, and gold on handles and lid finial. Very heavy, weighs 13 pounds and 6 ounces. A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.

Three plates with a blind molded basket weave border and swirled ribs the way Coalport molded plates in the early part of the 19th century. The hand painted flowers in a central bouquet and four single flowers on the lip are very much in the early Coalport style. The plates are 9 ¼ inches (23.5 cm) in diameter.

Conditon: no chips cracks, hairlines or repairs for two and the third with a spider in the center...

An underglaze blue hand painted ”Ronda” pattern soft paste porcelain plate with a deep molded rib border and barbed edge. Though unmarked the painted pattern and the distinctive molding are typical of Tournai. The diameter is 8 inches (20.32 cm).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some wear and a little associated discoloration.
