21114688 A very nice 8 ½ inch tall Galle cameo banjo form vase. The red over colorless over opal vase has a motif of cherries and leaves. The vase is signed as seen faintly in photograph C. The neck of the vase is 5/8" in diameter and the flat bulbous bottom is 2 3/8" wide and 1 ½” deep. The vase is in wonderful condition.

Chased, large silver overlay flower heads adorn the bottom of the bulbous-form emerald green glass vase. Art Nouveau silver leaves and vines ramble upward upon the tall, long-neck form. A lovely set of six sterling silver and plique-a-jour enamel cocktail picks by acclaimed Norwegian silversmith and enamelist Johan G. Kjaerland. Kjaerland worked in Bergen, Norway, and was particuarly well-known for his excellent plique-a-jour enamels. This is the first set of cocktail picks we've seen in plique-a-jour.
