This bold Evening Star doll quilt is well planned with the same red fabric used for the center and corners creating a Nine Patch. The same fabric is used for the binding which frames the piece well. Condition is very good. There is a very tiny snag in the center block and a dark smudge on the back that does not show through to the front. Measurements are 12" x 14". Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1890.
