This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Bodley between 1870 and 1882. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches long and 4 3/4 inches wide. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup has a puffy, blown-out shape with molded panels. The saucer is heart shaped and also has molded scrolls in the porcelain. The main color is greenish turquoise. Brightly colored, hand painted flowers fill the panels around the cup and surround the interior of the saucer...

A 19th century Staffordshire flat back china cottage 1850-60s. It is the flat back type, and measures 4 1/4" high and 3 7/16" across. The colouration is simple - yellow ochre and rust-brown. It is overall in excellent condition for its age except for a small chip on the chimney and wear to the painted decoration. The bocage around the roof eaves is in excellent shape (very minor loss, not noticeable) and no cracks, crazing, staining or repairs...

Beautiful set of 12 Royal Doulton service plates, handpainted by R. Brown. They are all scenes of castles and inns in England. They measure 10 1/4" in diameter, and are in excellent condition, with a tiny scratch here and there, but you have to look very close to see it...

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They measure 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with an ornate ruffled border. The center of each plate has a miniature landscape painting surrounded by a gilded cartouche. The border has scallops, frills, flowers and even a suggestion of coral. There are accents of gilding throughout. The plates are so representative of Victorian taste. They will display beautifully on a wall or in a breakfront...

A beautiful Flight Barr and Barr large sauce tureen from the Harlequin service. Two sides of the tureen have an exotic bird painted, by Henry Stinton, in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork. Classical pair of Jackfield Ware candlesticks with turquoise colored Roman figures on a black background. This pottery was first made at Jackfield, Shropshire, England, in the 18th century with a red clay body often decorated in relief and distinguished especially by its thick black glaze. These elegant candlesticks date to 1860 and would grace a mantle or dining room table.

Very rare Staffordshire pottery child's plate with an ABC rim surrounding a hand-colored transfer print of a railroad steam engine emerging from a tunnel. The plate is very colorful and is highly desirable because of the train decoration.

Origin: Staffordshire, England, ca 1895. Condition: very good, two very tight hairlines about 1" long, a couple of potting and painting flaws. Size: 7-1/2" diameter.

A very nice pair of Staffordshire spaniels highlighted with gilt decoration. Each dog wears a collar with a padlock and a chain. The muzzles are decorated with pink and black overglaze enamel, and the eyes are set with glass eyes. Both have the whimsical "Joan Crawford" eyebrows. Spaniels with glass eyes, although a bit later than some of the other Staffordshire figures, are difficult to find.

A superb transfer printed blue and white Staffordshire soup dish in the "Birds and Fruit" pattern. Unmarked but attributed to John Hall & Sons, Burslem, England. The central scene features two birds amidst a panoply of fruit, including pears, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, etc. The cavetto and wide rim has a border of flowers and foliage.
